McCall, a tourist town, is only 2.5 hours drive from Boise. We went there to see the snow scalpture in 2005. Last Saturday's Winter Carnival marked 45th anual celerbration of this winter festival. There was a parade and snow scalptures. The town was packed with tourists and fun activities. Hopefully, this is a good sign for recovery for the hard hitted Treasure Valley!
